How Teachers or Schools use Basic

Your teacher facilitates the course at your school

Teachers get access to UC Scout course content.

Teachers can show UC Scout videos or print and distribute course content to their students.

The teacher can use the entire course or parts of the courses to supplement their standard classroom.

Students are not linked through the online classroom, as you will find in Plus dark blue triangle .

Online gradebook, not available in Basic light blue triangle .

Calendar, Forums, Messages, not available in Basic light blue triangle .

How Students use Basic for self-study

Students can use Basic light blue triangle to supplement their in-school face-to-face courses or to prep for AP tests.

School credit is not available for students using Basic light blue triangle on their own.

For credit, introduce your school to Plus light blue triangle or sign up for an On Demand course.

Used by schools that want access to UC Scout courses AND all online classroom tools.

This includes assignments graded automatically, the ability to upload their own materials, create new tests and many other features not possible in Basic light blue triangle .
